Coordinator for Intercultural Dialogue

Battaini-Dragoni actively participated in the Council of Europe's own internal reform process and brought Social Cohesion to center stage in the post-enlargement agenda of the Organization, receiving the official endorsement of Heads of State and Governments on the occasion of the 2nd Summit of the Council of Europe of 1997.

In the framework of preparations for the 3rd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe's Member States in May 2005, she contributed to the streamlining and renewal of the Organisations's mandate in the Education, Culture and Heritage, Youth and Sport field.

1997 octobre 2005 : sous-directeur de l'Office fédéral de la justice, chef de la division des affaires internationales, agent du Gouvernement suisse devant la Cour EDH et le Comité des Nations Unies contre la torture (CAT)

2001-2002 : Président du Comité européen (DH-S-TER) qui a élaboré les « Lignes directrices sur les droits de l'homme et la lutte contre le terrorisme » adoptées par le Comité des Ministres du Conseil de l'Europe le 11.07.2002, ainsi que les « Lignes directrices sur la protection des victimes d'actes terroristes » ;
